Convention

Alpha Epsilon Phi’s 2009 Convention was like none other.

A record number of AEPhis, family members and friends gathered at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Miami, Florida to celebrate AEPhi’s 100 Years of Everlasting Friendships.

Highlights of the week included several award presentations.  Alumnae recipients were author Sara Davidson (Tau Chapter);  Ambassador Nancy Goodman Brinker (Mu Chapter), founder of Komen for the Cure; and Erica Hill (Alpha Chi Chapter), CNN and CBS news personality.  Individual collegiate honors were presented to Katie Blodgett (Alpha Lambda Chapter), Naomi Wischnia (Nu Chapter) and Jessica Robertson (Beta Theta Chapter).

Psi Chapter, Washington University was awarded the Shirley Mintz Greenfield Achievement and Excellence Award and Alpha Chi Chapter, Boston University was honored as the Most Improved Chapter.

The Katz Leadership Symposium with Pete Smithhisler of the North-American Interfraternity Conference was a resounding success as was the incredible “Walk Through the Ages” historical display coordinated by Traveling Educational Consultant Rachel Campbell and Past National President Dana Katz.

The gala banquet on Saturday did not disappoint as it was truly a spectacular event that included the premiere of “Many Hearts One Purpose, The Story of Alpha Epsilon Phi.”
