AEPhi Colonizes at Towson

Alpha Epsilon Phi Colonizes at Towson University in Towson, MD. Three years ago, a Jewish interest group formed at Towson University with the goal of bringing a national Jewish sorority to campus. The local sorority became known as Achot and earned affiliate status with the campus Panhellenic. In April, AEPhi was invited to present to the campus Panhellenic and extension committee, and at the end of the month we were invited to colonize on campus. On May 6, 2010, Amy Feldman Chmar and women from Beta Theta Chapter at Virginia Commonwealth University conducted our ribboning ceremony and welcomed the women of Achot into AEPhi. AEPhi is excited to welcome these outstanding women into our sisterhood and looks forward to welcoming other unaffiliated women at Towson following the Panhellenic's fall formal recruitment. For more information about our new Towson Colony, please contact AEPhi's Director of Extension, Sarah Schwartz.
