The Alpha Epsilon Phi Foundation is directed by a volunteer board of seventeen trustees, including the sorority national president and the sorority executive director who serves ex officio. The trustees bring a mix of Sorority involvement, non-profit expertise, and fundraising acumen to the group. Professional support is provided by Synergos Association Management Company.

Jessica Kort, President, Beta Eta 2003
Jessica was a member of the founding class of Beta Eta chapter of Alpha Epsilon Phi at UC San Diego. Inspired by the many volunteers who have shaped her experience, Jessica has served in multiple volunteer roles for Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority and Foundation.
Jessica works in philanthropy, organizational strategy, nonprofit governance, and the Jewish community. She currently serves as Vice President of Strategic Communications for the Jewish Community Foundation San Diego. Jessica received a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from UC San Diego, a Master of Arts in International Conflict Studies from King’s College London, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of San Diego. She lives in San Diego, CA with her husband and two children.
Joan Rufo Goldstein, Vice President - Scholarship, Phi Tau 1988
Joan Rufo Goldstein is serving her third term as a Foundation trustee and her second term as vice president - scholarship. Joan previously served as Foundation secretary. Joan’s AEPhi highlight is serving as a founder of the Phi Tau chapter at the State University of New York, College at Plattsburgh.
Joan works as a Senior Administrative Assistant at Yale University, School of Medicine in the department of Laboratory Medicine and splits her time between Connecticut, New York, and Arizona. Joan is married to the love of her life, Lauren, and together they have raised their daughter, Jessica, an AEPhi legacy who helped to recharter the chapter at Arizona State University.
Jennifer Mann Rosenblatt, Vice President - Programs, Alpha Tau 1992
Combining her love for AEPhi and philanthropy, Jennifer Mann Rosenblatt is honored to serve the Alpha Epsilon Phi Foundation as a trustee and vice president - programs. Jen has fulfilled many sorority roles since being initiated in 1992 at the University of Florida, including chapter parliamentarian, Traveling Educational Consultant (TEC), chapter advisor, vice president-chapter operations, Sharsharet liaison, awards committee, and nominating committee.
After earning her masters in public administration (MPA) from New York University, Jen has worked in a variety of non-profit development roles over the past 20 years and is currently the Manager of Special Events for the Colorectal Cancer Alliance. Jen has instilled her love of college sports and Greek life into her two sons, one of whom is an AEPi at The Ohio State University and the other is a SAM at the University of Michigan. While their boys are navigating their own college experiences, Jen and her husband Peter (whom she met through her role as a chapter advisor at Emory University) live in Millburn, New Jersey with their sheepadoodle Manny.
Jamie Gray Light, Secretary, Psi 1992
Jamie Gray Light is serving her third term as a Foundation trustee and her first as secretary. Jamie is the immediate past president of the Alpha Epsilon Phi Foundation and a past national president of Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority. Jamie has been a long-time volunteer for both the Sorority and the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC). She currently serves as a member of AEPhi’s Panhellenic Team, NPC RFM Senior Specialist and Total Setting Specialist, and Recruitment Advisor for Psi Chapter at Washington University.
Professionally, Jamie is the Deputy Director of PJ Library for the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, where she has worked in a variety of roles since 2015. Previously, Jamie worked in higher education and as a consultant specializing in strategic storytelling and leadership development. Jamie has a bachelor's degree in psychology and business from Washington University in St. Louis and a master's degree in college student personnel from Bowling Green State University. She lives in Beachwood, OH, with her husband and daughter, a recent graduate of The Ohio State University.
Lisa Jacobs Raymond, Treasurer, Epsilon Epsilon, 1989
Lisa Jacobs Raymond graduated in 1992 from Indiana University and treasured her time as an AEPhi. She remains close with several of her AEPhi sisters and is excited to be connected with the national organization by serving as an AEPhi Foundation trustee and treasurer of the Foundation.
Lisa has served as a leader, elected official, and advocate with a focus on under-resourced populations in the District of Columbia, with nearly 30 years of experience in the nonprofit and local government sectors. She is currently a fundraising consultant for nonprofits, a board member of Planned Parenthood of Metro Washington, DC, and an active supporter of numerous DC-based organizations. Lisa earned a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a B.A. in psychology from Indiana University. She lives in Washington, DC with her husband Josh and rescue pitbull, Jojo, and has two children in college: Lucy (College of Charleston) and Henry (Colorado State University).
Rebecca Hilberman Farrington, Trustee, Phi 1989
Rebecca is honored to serve as a trustee for the AEPhi Foundation. She became a member of AEPhi at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she held leadership positions on the Executive Board and Standards Board and served as Sisterhood Chair. After completing law school, she moved to Washington, DC, where she is currently the global co-chair of her firm’s antitrust practice. During her time in DC, Rebecca also enjoyed volunteering as an advisor to the Alpha Gamma chapter at The George Washington University.
Rebecca resides in Bethesda, Maryland, with her husband and their two dogs, who remind them their nest is neither empty nor quiet. Her two sons have similarly been enriched by Greek life in college—one in Los Angeles at a certain "rival school" to UCLA that shall not be named where he is an active member of ZBT, and the other, a recent graduate of Elon University, where he was a proud member of AEPi. Rebecca and her family recently founded Together at the Table, a charity focused on addressing food insecurity for families facing pediatric cancer diagnoses.
Lauren Shapiro Ford, Trustee, Phi Sigma 1990
Lauren graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI with a degree in Public Relations. She currently lives in Southfield, MI with her husband and 2 dogs. She works for Madonna University as Director of International Admissions.
As an alumna, Lauren has served as a chapter advisor, programming specialist, and operations specialist. In addition to her role as a Foundation trustee, Lauren volunteers as a finance advisor and director of house calls for the Sorority.
Debbie Friedman, Trustee, Phi Sigma 1990
Debbie returns to the Foundation board having previously served as both treasurer and president. Debbie is a graduate of Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan where she was an active member of Phi Sigma chapter. She earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting as well as her MBA with a concentration in finance. After graduation, Debbie continued her active involvement on the alumnae level serving in a variety of roles including chapter advisor, province director, house corporation, and finance specialist. Debbie served on AEPhi’s National Council from 2003-2023 and held multiple positions including national president from 2015-2019. Debbie is the current house corporation president and lead/finance advisor for Pi Chapter.
Debbie recently retired from General Motors after 25 years in Real Estate and is now the Controller of Group Five Management Company (a residential real estate company). In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her nephews, Kevin and Zachary. She also finds time to work with the family business (KIF’s Collectibles) by managing its financial operations.
Patti Askwith Kenner, Trustee, Alpha Nu 1963
Patti Askwith Kenner graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 1966. She studied French Literature and was pledge mother and president of her AEPhi chapter. Patti was impressed by the older women in Pittsburgh who advised her chapter and were very kind to her. Patti promised herself that when she was older, she would welcome the AEPhi collegians who lived in her city. She invites the AEPhi alumnae and collegians to movies, theatre, political and Jewish events in which she is involved.
Patti received her Masters degree from Columbia University Teachers College and taught in Harlem for 10 years. She lives in New York City and currently runs a family charter bus company, Campus Coach Lines, that her father started when he was a student at the University of Michigan. Patti is a trustee at the University Musical Society at Michigan as well as at her alma mater, Carnegie Mellon University. She also serves on the boards of UJA-Federation of New York, Museum of Jewish Heritage-A Living Memorial to the Holocaust, American Heart Association, Baruch College Jewish Studies and Defiant Requiem Foundation among others. Patti has a daughter & 4 grandchildren!
Lisa Spector Miller, Trustee, Omega 2001
Lisa is a 2004 graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, where she earned her bachelor of arts in history with a minor in Hebrew literature and language arts. Lisa earned her master's degree in public policy, with an emphasis in media policy and communications at Brown University. While an undergraduate in the Omega Chapter, Lisa served as vice president-philanthropy and as a member of the chapter’s standards board. She was also vice president of membership for Order of Omega.
Lisa is a long-term volunteer for Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority, having served on AEPhi National Council for eight years as vice president--chapter operations, vice president--chapter programming, and vice president--volunteer engagement. She has also served as AEPhi's director of officer transition, an advisor to the then emerging chapter at Texas A&M University, province director, team captain, and membership specialist. Lisa is honored to serve as one of the advisors for the Delta chapter.
Prior to graduate school, Lisa worked in the Office of the First Lady of Texas. During graduate school, she interned for ABC World News with Charles Gibson. Since attaining her master's degree, Lisa worked at Yale University in New Haven, CT for five years as well as the Director of Communications & Marketing at a private school in Houston, Texas for five years. Lisa lives in Austin, Texas with her husband and their eight-year-old twins.
Amy Perrault, Trustee, Phi Tau 1990
Amy Dockal Perrault joined Phi Tau chapter at the State University of New York, College at Plattsburgh. Amy brings more than 20 years of comprehensive Human Resources leadership from a wide range of industries. In addition to leading and developing HR teams, she excels in change management, organizational transformation, and executive coaching. She is trained as a behavior analyst and has a unique ability to analyze leadership and behavior styles as well as understanding an individual’s motivation.
Amy is originally from Upstate NY and currently lives in Buford, GA. She is a wife and mom to two sons and three Cane Corso Mastiffs.
Sharon Ongerth Rossi, Trustee, Phi 1996
Sharon Ongerth Rossi joined AEPhi at the University of California, Los Angeles. Sharon grew up around AEPhi as both her mother and grandmother were actively involved in the national organization. Sharon’s grandmother, Elizabeth Eldridge Bettelheim, served AEPhi as National President and was one of the original founders of the AEPhi Foundation.
Sharon met her husband at an AEPhi event in college and credits her chapter sisters for inspiring her to attend law school. Sharon is a lawyer specializing in employment law. Sharon lives with her husband and two children in the Bay Area on the street where she grew up.
Debbie Carlton Sanders, Trustee, Beta Epsilon 1995
Debbie Carlton Sanders is excited to serve her first year as a Foundation trustee. She graduated from MIT in 1999 with a degree in economics. While in college, Debbie served as Beta Epsilon chapter president. Following graduation, she volunteered as a team captain & operations specialist.
Debbie worked in strategy consulting before continuing her education by earning an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Debbie then moved to NY and worked in the fashion world for over a decade before deciding to focus her energy on raising her kids. Debbie is originally from the suburbs of Chicago and currently lives in NYC with her husband and two children.
Kristin Hall Schultz, Trustee, Phi Nu 2006
Kristin Hall Schultz joined AEPhi at SUNY Oswego and was involved both in her chapter and Panhellenic, serving as New Member Educator and Rho Chi. Since graduating, she has continued to be involved as a chapter advisor, most recently with her own chapter, Phi Nu. Kristin joined the Foundation Board as a way to be more involved with AEPhi and connect with sisters.
Kristin graduated from SUNY Oswego with a degree in Public Relations but she has spent much of her professional career working in college admissions, a job she stumbled upon after being a college tour guide during her undergrad. She currently lives with her husband, Alex, and two children, Charlie and Madelyn, in a small suburb in Buffalo, NY where both she and her husband grew up. Go Bills!
Leni Weisberg, Trustee, Iota 2015
Leni Weisberg joined AEPhi at Syracuse University in 2015 and has been a volunteer for close to two years as a chapter advisor for University of Michigan's Pi Chapter. She is thrilled to join the Foundation as a trustee.
From Toronto, Canada, Leni has several years of experience volunteering in different Jewish organizations. She fundraises and plans events and cannot wait to bring these talents to Foundation. Leni loves Alpha Epsilon Phi and is so happy to continue to be so involved as a volunteer and an alum.
Sorority National President, Jennifer Werger Feldman, Alpha Tau 1999
Jennifer joined AEPhi at the University of Florida. Jennifer previously served as a Foundation Trustee before joining National Council. She volunteered in numerous roles for the Sorority before being elected to National Council in 2015. Jennifer currently serves as National President, and as such has a seat on the Foundation Board, for which she is very grateful.
Jennifer lives outside of Washington, DC in Maryland, with her husband, Jay (who is the Executive Director of the Alpha Epsilon Pi Foundation), their daughter Sadie, and their dog. She works for the Montgomery County Circuit Court as a Staff Attorney and as a two time breast cancer survivor is actively involved as a volunteer and speaker for Sharsheret.
Sorority Executive Director, Bonnie Rubenstein Wunsch, Epsilon Eta 1981, serves as an ex officio member of the AEPhi Foundation board.
